Blue Jays to play home games in Buffalo. MORE:

TSN Blue Jays Reporter Scott Mitchell confirms that the team's home games will be played at Sahlen Field in Buffalo, the home of the club's Triple-A affiliate Buffalo Bisons.have settled on Buffalo as venue for 30 home games after going down the road with Maryland officials and hearing same things Pennsylvania and Canadian federal government told them.An official announcement is expected at some point on Friday afternoon.

After having been rejected on Thursday by the Pennsylvania Department of Health from playing games at PNC Park in Pittsburgh - with the increased health risk due to added travellers to the area cited - the team was expected to make a similar proposal to use the Baltimore Orioles' Camden Yards for their home dates, but Mitchell notes that the team encountered similar roadblocks with Maryland officials.

Very likely this ends up being 28 games. Staying in Washington for full home-and-home set next week is on the table, but Shapiro will address that later today.
