BREAKING Tornado confirmed in Sussex County, Delaware; 1 dead in house collapse
Delaware state police tell ABC News the person was killed after a house collapse.
A confirmed tornado was located near Bridgeville shortly after 6 p.m. Saturday, moving east at 50 mph, according to the National Weather Service. A severe thunderstorm watch was issued for New York City and parts of western Connecticut, western Massachusetts and northern New Jersey through 10 p.m. Saturday. Damaging wind gusts up to 65 mph, large hail up to 1 inch in diameter and "a tornado or two" are possible, the NWS said.
