A 35-year-old Virginia man who fell from a Carnival cruise ship earlier this week was there to celebrate his partner’s birthday. She reported him missing late Monday afternoon and security footage showed the man had “leaned over the railing of his stateroom balcony and dropped into the water” around 4 a.m.for Ronnie Peale Jr. after 60 hours and covering more than 13,000 square kilometres through Wednesday evening.
