Brooke Moses scored six points in overtime, including the go-ahead jumper, and Katelyn Kabrich had a team-high 13 points to lead Tomball Memorial past Cypress Lakes 48-45 in the bi-district round of the Region II-6A playoffs at Cypress Woods High School. With the Wildcats going to overtime game for the first time this season, Davis simply told them to win the period. He noted that Moses is one of the senior leaders who doesn’t want their season to be over yet.
Sisters Aniah and Makennah Alexis combined to score 14 points to give Cypress Lakes a 19-8 advantage after a quarter of play. The Spartans made four 3-pointers, including three from Aniah Alexis. Olivia Dummer and Dasia Hyams each hit a 3-pointer for Tomball Memorial.
