The setlist was stock party band covers: Loverboy's"Working for the Weekend," The Outfield's"You Love," A-ha's"Take on Me." There isn't much spark or color in Sandoval's voice, and he doesn't talk much between songs. There was a lot of rock star posturing — '90s grunge by way of Criss Angel. He hit a djembe drum that couldn't really be heard and blew a few notes on a trumpet.
Toto's"Rosanna" was inexplicably extended to twice as long as it needed to be. Fall Out Boy's"Dance, Dance" was a garbled, overdone mess. The lyrics to"Stacy's Mom" were changed to"Schwartz's Mom," a reference to"Pump Rules" co-star Tom Schwartz.Joey Guerra/Staff
