According to, authorities of the Williamsburg Police Department and Kentucky State Police were searching for Tina Hicks, 45, and were responding to an address to serve her with “multiple outstanding warrants for her arrest.”
When authorities came to Hicks’ home searching for her, the adults refused to help. Though that’s when “a very brave and honest toddler stood up, put his hands on his hips, and stated ‘It is good to be honest … we shouldn’t lie, she is inside the room next to the bathroom!’” the sheriff’s office posted onDeputies were able to locate her and served her with warrants that charged her with Possession of Meth and Drug Paraphernalia. She also was served with four other warrants.
The toddler does not live at the address and wasn’t in any danger. Though the child was visiting family at the time, as“He was healthy, intelligent, and in no way appeared to be abused,” the sheriff’s office added. “He was just at the wrong place wrong time. If deputies thought he was a potential victim of repercussions, it would have been dealt with.”
