I love the Market area and went there for many years. Unfortunately, I now rarely go, due to the parking issue. I wouldn’t have a clue where to leave my vehicle or how to take public transit to the Market. Tourists unfamiliar with Ottawa wouldn’t either. I also would be uncomfortable late at night returning to my vehicle in some unknown area.
Bearbrook Retirement home has had three yarn drives and last year the Red Oak Retirement had one for us too. As long as we are given wool, we will continue our projects of afghans, scarf, mitts, newborn baby hats, lapghans, etc. Thanks to the Ottawa population who send us the wool.
