Hollywood likes to take what many of us think is a great story and tweak it, apparently making it more appealing for the big screen. They do this all the time with American storylines but it is particularly galling when they butcher something Canadian.
We must remember that whoever has the money and the means, in this case Hollywood, is not in the documentary business, so they can produce whatever entertainment they think will be profitable.Article contentThe CNN townhall featuring Donald Trump should have been renamed the liars’ club. Oops, wait, there he is: Congressman George Santos. He is not quite Trump’s equal when it comes to lying, but hey, give him a few more days. That is why I propose a Trump/Santos platform for president/vice-president. Some clueless right-wing supporters would welcome such a ticket, thereby cementing the U.S.’s accelerating decline.
