I apologize for pain they have caused. Going forward, no comedy-loving kid needs to stumble on these tropes and be stung by their ugliness. I thank NBCUniversal for honoring this request.
Two of the episodes—“Believe In The Stars” from season three and “Christmas Attack Zone” from season five—feature’s oblivious character, Jenna Maroney, in blackface. In “Believe In The Stars,” Jenna switches places with Tracy in an effort to see who is more marginalized in society—white women or Black men.
