Okay, here’s my version. I adored working with Walt from the jump, but these actors, they’re a pain in the a--. They get really into their work! There was this thing where, as the show went on, and especially as the thing came to an end, where I would come from the writers’ room. They’d add things that were like, “Here’s what we need Walt to do in order to get to this finale we want.” Then Walt would say his character would never do that, and then I’d be like, “God---mn it.
Will Olyphant And Goggins Meet Again In Justified: City Primeval Season 2 The sequel show Justified: City Primeval was released in 2023, eight years after season 6 seemed to wrap up the series. In addition to bringing back Olyphant as Givens, the show also caught up with Goggins’ Crowder. The show ended with a surprise twist, as Crowder escaped from prison, a turn of events that caused a presumably retiring Givens to reverse course on his plan to finally hang it up.
