He added a white button-up shirt and sleek black leather boots. But it was his ornamental brooch pinned to his front pocket, by Cartier, that elevated things to A-list proportions. The fine jeweller’s Tradition brooch, from 1955, featured 18-karat white gold, platinum, rubies, and diamonds.
