An exec from its song-distribution tool is now leading TikTok's artist services for the region.TikTok has shuffled staff on its music team in North America over the past few months, naming a new artist-services lead and moving a key exec into a role at its parent company.
The company elevated Tom Mee, the former North America artist-services lead for its song-distribution platform SoundOn, to oversee artist services across TikTok in the region, a company spokesperson confirmed to Insider.
