Tiger Woods ties Sam Snead’s all-time PGA Tour record with his 82nd career victory
Six months after he won the Masters, Tiger Woods reached another high point in his improbable comeback on Monday when he tied the record for PGA Tour victories.
He did it about as far off the American golf map as the schedule gets, at a time of year when it becomes easy to forget the sport is even in season. And he did it with only a smattering of spectators on hand, after Friday rains pushed the conclusion of the inaugural Zozo Championship to Monday morning in Chiba, Japan—Sunday evening in the U.S.
