In 1997, Tiger Woods famously won The Masters to launch an era of nearly unprecedented dominance across any sport.
Flash-forward 22 years to the present and a similar moment was seen upon Woods winning his fifth career Green Jacket — and 15th major in total — after an 11-year gap in between Major victories that saw Woods’ public image get dragged through the mud because of marital issues and a slew of injuries that threatened to force him into retirement.
Those embraces in both 1997 and a week back will forever be a part of Woods’ legacy and, on Saturday, they were immortalized forever in very unique fashion.My two favorite sports are mini golf and emotional dad hugging, so this lines up with my interests.
