Charlie Woods added another accomplishment to his burgeoning golf career, with a little help from his dad.
Charlie — with Tiger Woods caddying — earned a spot in the Notah Begay III National Championship on Sunday.“It’s great. We just stay in our own little world,” Charlie, 14, said about his dad caddying for him.
“We take it one shot at a time. He puts me in my place. I’ll talk about the next tee shot and he’s like, ‘No. This is the shot we’re going to focus on. Focus up. This is what we’re gonna do.’” The Notah Begay III National Championship is slated to take place November 4-6 at Koasati Pines at Coushatta Casino Resort in Louisiana.
