Thunder Bay selected to host Women's Baseball World Cup

The World Baseball Softball Confederation and Baseball Canada on Tuesday announced that the city will host both one of the first stage groups, as well as the finals.

“The [Thunder Bay International Baseball Association] has hosted first class international baseball events for over two decades and we know that they will once again deliver a quality experience for all teams, officials, volunteers and visitors to Thunder Bay.” The top six teams from that first phase will advance to the finals, which will be held in the summer of 2024.
