Lorna Bottos won $1,370,372 in September’s Thunder Bay 50/50 draw.
The Thunder Bay resident found out that she was winner of $1,370,372 from September’s Thunder Bay 50/50 draw.
“I was hoping the 50/50 would change my life one day,” Bottos said during a phone conversation with Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Foundation president and CEO Glenn Craig.Bottos works for OSAP helping students with financial aid achieve their goals and does evening shifts at the Metro deli.Bottos is the 13th straight millionaire that has come from the monthly lottery draw.
The foundation has announced a number of changes for their October draw schedule, which included a $20,000 draw on Oct. 4.Tickets can be purchased online at or at the 50/50 Store in Intercity Shopping Centre.
