TORONTO — A large group of family and friends, including dozens of Northwestern Ontario residents, are in line to split a $1 million Lotto Max prize.

OLG has named 63 people from across the province as joint holders of a Lotto Max Maxmillions ticket drawn on June 18, 2021. The group includes 31 residents of Atikokan, three people from Thunder Bay, and a resident of Sioux Lookout. One of the claimants – from Atikokan – worked at an authorized OLG retailer at the time the ticket was purchased, while another – from St. Catharines – currently works for an authorized OLG retailer.Neither individual bought or validated the ticket at their place of employment.

The money will be distributed on Aug. 26, 2022 provided no further claims have been submitted by then.
