A three-vehicle collision has caused the shutdown of State Route 1 in Pacifica and brought emergency vehicles to the accident site.
PACIFICA — A three-vehicle collision caused the shutdown of State Route 1 in Pacifica Saturday evening — but emergency crews were able to reopen the accident site by around 7 p.m.
State Route 1, also known as the Cabrillo Highway in that area, was shut down in the vicinity of Linda Mar Boulevard, the Pacifica Police Department reported.“A three-vehicle injury collision has State Route 1 closed just south of Linda Mar Boulevard in Pacifica,” a release from the San Mateo County Alert System stated.
The cause of the accident wasn’t immediately known. A release from the Pacific Police Department didn’t mention any injuries.“Emergency crews are on scene,” police said. “Motorists are advised to avoid the area and to use alternate routes.”
