RCMP Constable, 911 dispatcher and sheriff to represent Prince George
A trio of riders will represent Prince George when Cops for Cancer Tour de North starts their long-distance cycling trip in two weeks.
On September 14, Prince George RCMP Cst. Rob Warren, Stacey Osiowy of the North District RCMP 911 Dispatch Centre and Peter Wharton of the B.C. Sherriff’s Service will embark on an 850-kilometre, six-day journey from Dawson Creek to Williams Lake to raise funds for research into childhood cancer. As of Monday, Osiowy has raised $4,531 in pledges, fourth-highest among those involved. Warren's total sat at $3,985.90 and Wharton had raised $2,901.10.
