Two vehicles, a Dodge Ram pickup truck and an SUV, were involved in the collision on Highway 19 outside Bowser on Saturday, Nov. 2, 2024. According to witnesses, the SUV burst into flames due to the crash that resulted in a road closure.
Three people were sent to hospital following a fiery two-vehicle crash on Highway 19 at Cook Creek Road near Bowser on Vancouver Island, according to paramedics.says paramedics were called to the scene along Highway 19, or Inland Island Highway, around 9:20 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 2. Four ambulances, including three with primary care paramedics and one with advanced care paramedics, responded to the collision, and crews provided emergency medical treatment to three people, who were then transported to hospital.Photos taken on scene showed a Dodge Ram pickup truck and an SUV, which was destroyed by fire as a result of the crash that resulted in a road closure.Around 11 p.m.
