Three people facing charges after gas station theft

Sault Ste Marie OPP have arrested three individuals in connection with an incident that occurred at a gas station garage on Highway 17B in Macdonald-Meredith-Aberdeen Additional Township.

According to police, the accused were stealing catalytic converters from vehicles in the parking lot. When confronted, they fled in a black car. Shortly after this, the officers located and stopped the suspected vehicle on Sweet Grass Road in Garden River First Nation.Venessa Tookenay, 23, of Sault Ste Marie was charged with:They will show up before the Ontario Court of Justice in Sault Ste Marie on Feb. 6, 2023.Solomon will attend the Ontario Court of Justice Bail Court in Sault Ste Marie on Dec. 7, 2022.
