Currently four other fires located in the region, one of which is being observed and three are under control
Three new wildfires have been confirmed as of this afternoon, one of which is near the Sault, the Ministry of Northern Development, Mines, Natural Resources and Forestry said in a release today.
There are four other active wildland fires in the Northeast Region, one is being observed and three are under control. The fire hazard is low to moderate for the majority of the Northeast Region. Temiskaming Shores to the Georgian Bay is showing a high hazard.
