Three additional charges of attempted murder have been filed against a man accused in multiple hit-and-run crashes.
by Arielle Harrison and Jared Turner, KUTVFILE - Police lights. Officials said 26-year-old Anh Duy Pham , age 26 deliberately crashed into multiple female pedestrians in the Salt Lake Valley.Gill said Pham was charged in a least nine intentional crashes.
KUTV spoke to a witness in what was believed to be the first crash, who was only identified as Mandy. The crash was almost a year ago."He just rammed her," Mandy said. After the crash, the couple watched Pham drive off. Cristi ran to the victim, and Mandy said she got in the car and followed Pham.The couple's bravery led to key evidence, when Mandy photographed Pham’s license plate, Gill said."This was one of those things that was shrouded in the anonymity of accidents," Gill said.
He thanked the diligent work of police, investigators, and witnesses, like Mandy and Cristi, for their help in building a stronger case.
