Officers were called to the 700 block of Douglas Avenue around 1 a.m. on reports of a car striking a tree at high speed, eventually landing on a second vehicle. The driver and two occupants of the car died at the scene as a result of their injuries, two other passengers were transported to hospital, one with critical injuries, the other with minor injuries. More details will be provided as they become available.
