QUEEN CREEK, AZ — Queen Creek police ended a lockdown while they searched for a person of interest in a shooting near Ellsworth Road and Sierra Park Boulevard.

During the initial investigation residents nearby were told to remain inside and lock their doors as officers searched the area for the person who was believed to be armed.Police announced late Tuesday evening that a third-person of interest has been detained. Officials say the person is believed to be connected to nearby reports of shots fired. Two people were detained earlier in the day.Officials did not comment on potential charges.
