Blue Jays stars Marcus Semien, Lourdes Gurriel Jr. and Jose Berrios are among the finalists for the 2021 Gold Glove awards.

Semien is a finalist for the first time in his career and is being recognized after switching to second base from shortstop with the Blue Jays. He recorded a fielding percentage of .985 at second with only eight errors in 147 games. The Angels' David Fletcher and the Royals' Whit Merrifield are the other American League second base finalists.

Gurriel Jr. is a Gold Glove finalist for the first time after his second complete season in left field for the Blue Jays. He recorded 12 outfield assists and only four errors with a .978 fielding percentage in 119 games this season. Rays rookie Randy Arozarena and Royals veteran Andre Benintendi are the other American League left field finalists.

Berrios is also a Gold Glove finalist for the first time in his career. The Blue Jays acquired the right-handed starter from the Twins in a blockbuster deal at the trade deadline. In 32 starts between the Twins and Blue Jays, Berrios posted a .900 fielding percentage with four errors and 23 assists. The Astros' Zack Greinke and the White Sox's Dallas Keuchel are the other American League pitcher finalists., and avoid posting profanity, personal attacks or harassment.
