Toronto police have arrested three individuals in connection with a homicide. The suspects are facing charges of murder, manslaughter, and robbery.
Homicide investigators executed search warrants in Toronto and Durham Region on Tuesday, resulting in three suspects being taken into custody. They have been identified as 18-year-old Ricardo Willis, 19-year-old Lukiara Hunter-Wilmot and 26-year-old Kenneth Neil. Willis and Neil are both facing second-degree murder and robbery, while Hunter-Wilmot has been charged with manslaughter and robbery. The circumstances that led to the shooting remain unknown.
Police recovered 11 shell casings that spanned a distance of about 70 metres down the laneway. Homicide investigators continue to ask anyone with information about the incident to contact them at 416-808-7400 or Crime Stoppers anonymously at 416-222-TIPS (8477)
