Three people were arrested early Sunday morning after reports of gunfire in the area of Parliament and Dundas Streets.
Officers were called to the area around 7:50 a.m. where they found a suspect vehicle, made the arrests and allegedly recovered a firearm in the vehicle.
Toronto Police Const. Laura Brabant says police were still looking for evidence of an actual shooting. “Nobody was injured and I don’t think we can find any evidence of gunfire,” said Brabant. “Usually we find shell casings but we couldn’t find any. It’s such a big area so I think officers are still searching the area. There was information that a vehicle fled the area and officers were able to find a vehicle and stop it. “Article content
