The Saint John Police Force said officers were called to a building in the 100-block of Guilford Street just after 8:30 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 25 after shots were fired from the street into the building. Within minutes, an officer on patrol in the area stopped a vehicle on Guilford Street near Ludlow Street.
The occupants of the vehicle were arrested and found in possession of two pellet guns, a loaded shotgun, ammunition, and a substance believed to be crystal methamphetamine. During the incident a window was damaged and there were several occupants inside the building at the time, however, no one was injured.Two adult men, ages 25 and 48, a 43-year-old woman, and a 17-year-old youth were arrested on weapon, drug, and mischief related offenses.Police are asking any witnesses or anyone in the area that has video footage of the incident at the time it occurred to contact the Saint John Police Force at 1-506-648-333 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
