Plenty of grown-ups are “geeking out” about their love of games this weekend.
“This has always been a passion of mine and these games are made by my people, and I love seeing them get the recognition they deserve,” said Jessilyn Shaefer, who donned a costume for the event in the name of creativity.
She worked out of an ice cream truck at Westlake Park that’s based on the storyline from one of the newest games out there. “Fran’s frogurt shop gets hit by a giant laser beam and that starts an all-out war on Promethia,” Shaefer said.More news from KIRO 7
