Fat Guy's Car Show draws in crowds
THUNDER BAY – Thousands of people made their way down to check out the hundreds of classic cars on display at this year’s Fat Guys Car Show on Saturday.
Nathan Pickard, vice president of Strategic Growth and Operations for Fat Guys Auto Parts, said that organizers were nervous with the weather this week, but they’re more than pleased with the turnout this year. The show had over $10,000 in cash prizes to be won by those who entered their cars and like previous years, the funds from the car show will be going towards George Jeffery Children's foundation.
“And we began our journey in Thunder Bay and just recently we opened up in Winnipeg, July 31, Our second location and it's always nice to come home and put on this event and you know, bring the community together."
