"In psychology, there is no way to assess, diagnose, or treat racial trauma. This is because definitions of trauma are based on Eurocentric experiences. So naturally, experiences that only impact BIPOC are rarely viewed as traumatic. There is this desensitization to our pain, and as a society, we need to do better," she told BuzzFeed.

2. Do not exhaust yourself arguing with someone who is more concerned about not being called racist, than simply doing the work to be anti-racist.
