Big Macs have been a staple on McDonald’s menu since the 1960s. The iconic sandwich includes two beef patties stacked between three buns. The burgers are topped with American cheese, pickle slices, onions, shredded lettuce, and Big Mac sauce. The Big Mac sauce has been long touted as a secret since its inception, although many people have attempted to recreate their own version of the sauce. The former chef did some extensive research to compare the ingredients and nutrition facts of Big Mac sauce and many store-bought brands.
