For a couple who would rather stay in than go out for a prix fixe, New York’s cult-favorite cookware brandhas just released a Valentine’s Day-worthy gift: their best-selling Dutchess pot in a bright red shade called “Marinara”—a celebration of New York, love, and of course, pasta. “We really love bold, bright, primary colors and red has really been there since the start,” says Great Jones founder Sierra Tishgart. When the brand first launched the Dutchess, its mustard hue was inspired byVera Wang gown at the 2006 Oscars, while the green version was an homage to the camp colors of the place where Tishgart met her co-founder, Maddy Moelis. "Marinara" pays tribute to the copious amount of pasta dishes the founders see made in the Dutchess every day .
