People who own Eichler homes often go to great lengths to preserve them. Even when modernized, most remodels stay close to the original intent of the iconic American midcentury modern design. Ometto Arredamenti was established in the 1960s, became extremely popular in the 1980s through partnerships with major Italian furniture brands and eventually became one of the first Italian companies to introduce the concept of home automation systems. Ometto Arredamenti has reimagined the home’s interiors. The kitchen, a minimalist modern interpretation, is contemporary with clean lines and built-in features that would surely have pleased famed developer Joseph Eichler.
