off of Colombia’s northern coast, Natalia and her sister saw it as the perfect opportunity to whip up a guide to a place off the beaten path. “In Colombia, if you want crystal clear beaches, you go to San Andrés and Providencia,” says Swarz. But getting to Providencia is no small feat. From San Andrés, you need to catch a tiny plane or take a four hour catamaran, but the trek is well worth it.
