In Myeong-Minho’s charming illustrations, each drawing is a snapshot of pure love. Whether the protagonists are returning home from a busy day at work or sharing a hug, these illustrations show that it’s the everyday joys that truly make life extraordinary. reached out to Myeong-Minho to learn more about his creative process and himself. We were curious about his background as an artist. “I have never formally learned drawing professionally,” Myeong-Minho shared. “Since I was young, I enjoyed drawing cartoon characters. Then, in middle school, I participated in an art competition and even won an award. For high school, I enrolled in a cartoon art high school.
After completing my military service, I worked various jobs here and there, trying everything possible. Then, one day while working in a factory, amidst the repetitive daily routine, a thought struck me: ‘What would I regret the most if I were to die?’ I realized that not pursuing what I truly wanted to do would be my biggest regret. So, I made up my mind to start drawing, the thing I wanted to do the most. From that moment on, I began to draw seriously.
