Betty and Veronica are endgame.
Archie Comics’ Betty and Veronica are an iconic friendly duo, but artist Kerry Callen reminds fans they are meant to be together as a couple. While the CW’s Riverdale had teased the possibility of a romance between the two besties since the first season, the show ends with Betty and Veronica in a polyamorous relationship with Archie and Jughead. But thankfully, this Archie Comics parody artwork gives fans a glimpse into a possible timeline where “Beronica” is canon.
SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY SCROLL TO CONTINUE WITH CONTENT Comic artist Kerry Callen gives Betty and Veronica a happy ending with a wedding cover art. On Instagram, Callen shares his old parody artwork from his “Great Comics That Never Happened” project with writer Chris Sims, inspired by the Silver Age of Comics. One of his masterpieces includes the Valentine’s Day wedding of Betty Cooper and Veronica Lodge, with the residents of Riverdale losing their minds over it.
Since the 1940s, the girl next door and the high society flirt have been friendly rivals who understand each other on such a deep level. This wedding day artwork, while a parody, could be a seismic shift in the Archiverse as the town of Riverdale buzzes about these two best friends dating and eventually getting hitched. The cover art shows Archie is flabbergasted that his best friends/crushes are married, and Cheryl Blossom has the “Ginger Stallion” all to herself.
It’s Time For A Betty and Veronica Love Story With the comics continuing to embrace change and new relationships, there’s never been a better time to bring "B and V" together romantically. The two have incredible chemistry thanks to the constant time they spend together and their desire to be friends despite their love for Archie. Betty understands that Veronica’s spoiled upbringing hides a very sweet and friendly girl who hasn’t had a real friend since moving to Riverdale.
