Eric Kutil was behind the wheel of its EG-generation Honda Civic race car at a Gridlife event at Lime Rock in August when he nearly wrecked at an extremely high speed. The save in question happened during a Top Ten shootout.shows Kutil losing the rear end and going full-lock on the steering wheel to the left at 80 mph before kissing the grass and somehow coming back on track unscathed.

I've been flirting with going flat [through turn] 7 all weekend long and decided to just go for it. Well... that was a mistake. My brain said yes, my foot said no. A slight hesitation on the throttle turned into this mess. Glad I saved it because that could've been real bad!
