A van overturned, flipped into a ditch and burst into flames on Saturday, leaving another 10 people injured.
More than a dozen people have been killed after a road accident in Mexico.
Authorities initially said 12 people had died in the crash on a motorway in the central part of the country, but confirmed later that another had died in hospital.Seven of the victims were initially trapped inside the car, the emergency services agency from Jalisco state said on Twitter.
