Easter long weekend is coming up! For those of you who aren't so keen to set up your own melted chocolate festival, here are a few options for how to spend your April long weekend.

When do bunnies go underwater? During Easter at the Vancouver Aquarium. The aquarium showcases Scuba Bunny swimming among colourful fish on his daily dives during the Easter season. It is also holding an Easter-themed Sea Search scavenger hunt featuring a trail of eggs and trivia questions.• April 2 to 18. Adults $42, child 3-12 $26.25, students and seniors $36.

Rabbitats’ Easter BunnyFest is back in person this year happening at the most beautiful venue, Richmond Lavenderland! It’ll be a fun weekend filled with adorable and friendly rescued bunnies, family friendly activities, local artisan vendors, a crafts market, and educational sessions, drawing close to a thousand people from Richmond and beyond supporting a great cause. All proceeds go to Rabbitats’ Rescue Society, which is a volunteer-run charity.• April 16 and 17, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Join the Easter Bunny for an Easter Egg Hunt, arts & craft, play time. The excitement will also include a bouncy castle, face painting, balloon making, a photo booth and Mike’s Critters! Parent participation is required. Pre-registration is recommended.• April 16, 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.; Kids are $6.
