Nine of the 13 restaurants with 20 or more critical violations are in suburban Cuyahoga County. The others are in Kent, plus Lake, Lorain, and Summit counties.

The 13 restaurants listed at the end of this story are those with the most critical violations among restaurants, catering halls, schools, and gas stations, according to reports filed electronically with the state.

Nine of the 13 restaurants with 20 or more critical violations are in suburban Cuyahoga County. The others are in Kent, Lake, Lorain, Summit Two other places tied for the largest share of critical violations compared to their total violations. Both Fiesta Jalapenos in North Ridgeville and Rider’s Inn in Painesville had 41% of their total violations be critical. This means more than a third of their violations were considered a high health risk.
