Five participants took part in a traditional Chinese dance workshop at the Confederation Centre of the Arts on April 5. The dance has a history of five thousand years and is deeply rooted in Chinese civilization. Its origins can be traced back to the dances performed in ancient imperial palaces. The classical Chinese dance training comprises three main components: technical skill, form and bearing. The workshop focused on teaching the basic form and bearing.
