The Golden Knights have won six of their last seven games.

One of the hottest teams in the NHL right now is the team that had the hottest start to the season, and their run could not come at a more opportune time.

The Vegas Golden Knights hit a rough patch in the middle portion of the season, and despite going out and getting a lot of players at the trade deadline, they were down to the second Wild Card spot in the Western Conference. Yet, the defending Stanley Cup champions have recovered mightily over the last month, and have reeled off wins in each of their their last three games, with Vegas winning six of its last seven games.

The Golden Knights are starting to look more like the favorite to repeat as champions that many expected heading into the season. After the brief spell, Vegas is back up to third in the Pacific Division, five points ahead of the fourth-place Los Angeles Kings, and only three behind the Edmonton Oilers for second., Frank Seravalli and Tyler Yaremchuk look at what has been working for Vegas over the last few weeks.

There’s a lot of questions for a team that has been playing well, and has the Cup pedigree that just seems like it’s kind of playing a card from the Tampa Bay Lightning deck. Which is flipping a switch at the right time of the year.
