“In family Christmas photos, I would be forced to wear the flo-flo dress and I would hate it,” he says. “And there was one year where I cried so hard because I did not like the dress in particular. I just thought it was a very ugly dress, but I know now that I just didn’t like the dress as a concept. And then I started realizing there’s probably something else more to it, but I didn’t think much of it until I finally got my hair cut my sophomore year.
Still, the name change hadn’t been legally documented yet — and that’s where Andi’s classmates stepped in. “He’s really genuinely a super kind person and fun to be around, full of energy,” Isabella says of Andi. “Not only that, but he’s there for you whenever you need him.”for awhile, but because he doesn’t have a job, he wasn’t sure when he would find enough money to do it.
