Group of dozen Conservatives have openly questioned his future
Mr Mills said Mr Johnson’s position as prime minister was “untenable” after he was fined by the Metropolitan Police for breaking his own Covid laws. He said he would be sending in a letter of no-confidence to 1922 committee chair.The former party whip said Mr Johnson should “do the right thing and resign” during a Facebook event after the PM was fined. But Mr Whittaker said he won’t be submitting a letter to the 1922 Committee – predicting that the PM would win a no-confidence vote .
