She confessed that she “felt a lot of shame” for looking presentable but dealing with a different reality behind the scenes. Since departingin August 2021, Carrie Ann has become even more in tune with herself. She shared that she’s currently undergoing treatment for, I really took some time to focus on my health and understand what that meant,” she told the outlet.
Despite still dealing with a variety of diagnoses, Carrie is feeling better these days and she continues checking in on herself. “I’m more well now than I’ve been in my life even maybe when I was in my 20s,” she told the publication. “I’m so much more conscious now of what it takes to maintain wellness. It’s a daily practice every day I have to work on me ‘cause this is the gift.
