At one time, the electronics retailer had two locations in Sault Ste. Marie
The doors have closed permanently on the Station Mall location of The Source, an electronics retailer that once operated two locations in the city.
Signs seen on the glass entrance on the weekend note the store has been closed permanently and Sault Ste. Marie no longer appears on the retailer's web site map of locations in Canada. Those signs note all high-value assets have been removed from the store and that it is under 24-hour surveillance. Customers with questions about warranty, returns or exchanges are asked to phone the Barrie-based company's customer care number at 1-866-515-5855.
Radio Shack once had locations in the Station Mall and Cambrian Mall in the Sault before the company took on The Source by Circuit City branding in 2004. The Cambrian Mall location closed years ago.SooToday is reaching out to the company for more information.
