The Shocking Non-Twist Of Destiny 2’s Season Of The Lost Finale

Destiny 2's Season of the Lost finale raises some extremely interesting questions about Savathun.

plan was to make Savathun vulnerable and Mara was planning on just murdering her, but naturally, given the coming events of The Witch Queen, that did not happen. Savathun escaped into the ether and Mara realized she was sadly, not going to get to stab Savathun.

However, the biggest twist reveal of the ending, which you saw if you did not have the mission bug out on you, is that there was actually anWhile she escapes from the crystal, lying there in her stead is Osiris. If you only saw the cutscene you might think he was dead, but conversations and audio logs past this point confirm that he is in fact alive, just not…terribly healthy. But all indications are that he will recover.

This is important, however, because as Petra notes in the audio log, this means Savathun actually…kept her word to the letter. We exorcized Savathun’s worm and she gave us Osiris back, alive.
